As from July of 2013, Getz Bros. & Co. (Latvia) Ltd. has started production of high quality Turtle Wax engine cooling fluids. The new products are the addition to the existing automotive antifreeze fluid range under Pitstop label.
Getz Bros. & Co. (Latvia) Ltd has a couple of years’ experience in producing high quality screen-wash detergents under Turtle Wax label, both for winter and summer season. Extending the product range by adding the cooling fluids was just a matter-of-course. It is supposed to supply Latvia’s market with two new coolants in 1L bottle: Turtle Wax Engine Coolant -38ºC and Turtle Wax Long Life Engine Coolant -40ºC. Turtle Wax brand, which stands for world’s leading manufacturer in car care products, is a proof of the highest quality standards. Besides, the new products are supposed to fulfil the highest safety demands on product storage and transportation, because of the safety foil sealed to cover the neck of each bottle.
Turtle Wax Engine Coolant -38ºC is a high quality ethylene glycol based engine coolant that efficiently maintains and protects the cooling system for at least 12 months from the date of complete replacement of the fluid. It is suitable for use in the cooling systems with metallic and alloy components, providing effective protection of the cooling system against freezing (down to –38*C), corrosion and overheating. It is free from nitrites, amines and phosphates. Product exceeds the requirements of most European and International Standards including: ASTM D3306, ASTM D4985, SAE J1034, BS 6580 (1992), AFNOR NF R15-601.
Turtle Wax Long Life Engine Coolant -40ºC is a high quality ethylene glycol based long life engine coolant employing organic acid inhibitor technology. It is suitable for use in the cooling systems with metallic and alloy components, providing effective protection of the cooling system against freezing (down to –40*C), corrosion and overheating for up to 5 years or 250,000 km for passenger cars and 500,000 km in commercial vehicles, whichever is the sooner. Product is free from nitrites, amines, phosphates, borates and silicates. It maintains the cooling system clean by preventing the formation of the scale, throughout its efficient lifetime. Product exceeds the requirements of most European and International Standards including: ASTM D3306, ASTM D4985, SAE J 1034, BS 6580 (1992), FFV Heft R443, CUNA NC 956-16, UNE 26361-88, NATO S 759.
