Children’s culture project Garā pupa invites large families to participate in a competition, where with the support of the car accessory product supplier and wholesaler Getz Bros.&Co. (Latvia), six families will have a chance to win tickets to cultural events with all related travel expenses paid.

Any large family (three or more children) wishing to attend a cultural events more frequently in 2015, is invited to participate in the competition; the application form should note an event from the children's culture calendar Garā pupa a family wish to attend, as well as three written new year’s resolutions. Entries are accepted now through January 12th, with the winners announced on January 19th - naming six families receiving the opportunity to visit the chosen cultural event with all related travel expenses paid.

Association Ascendum children’s culture project Garā pupa, in cooperation with the company Getz Bros.&Co. (Latvia), for the second year is organising competitions that promote the participation of children in cultural processes. In 2014 a competition “I will be a future musician” was carried out, where two young talented musicians received a much necessary musical instrument.

Simons Kozlinskis, Member of the Board of Getz Bros. & Co. (Latvia): “Over the last five years Getz Bros. & Co. (Latvia) as part of the Christmas campaign has chosen to support culture and the arts. Alongside the long-lasting support of the world music festival Rīgas Ritmi, we wish to encourage children’s creative development. For several years, our beneficiary has been the Krāslava School of Arts, providing opportunities for young artists to learn the basics of arts and expressing themselves. In 2013, we participated in the association Ascendum project Garā pupa, which we still believe to be the most sincere and valuable activity for children and parents. Therefore, this year we support large families, who wish to attend cultural events more frequently. First of all, for the simple pleasure of delightful togetherness - attending events in great family circle everyone’s joy will multiply, just by simply sharing it. Second, for the high artistic qualities of Ascendum selected cultural events – they will serve as a reference in helping to recognise and perceive the true value.”
